About the Artist

During the day, I am a not-so-mild mannered Graphic Designer for a great metropolitan healthcare education publisher in San Bruno, CA. But when I’m not doing that I am immersed in Creating Art, Fatherhood, wife-lovin’, Movie watching, Guinness drinking, Comic Books, and when I have time, self indulgent debauchery!

Wielding graphite from a very young age, I feel I have evolved artistically from traditional and comic-book style, which I have long been so passionate about, to a versatile and well-rounded illustrator. Yet I am still learning. Basic pencil-on-paper will always be my preferred media but I continuously add on to my repertoire, from acrylics on canvas to digital. I am my own worst critic, continuously pushing myself to breakdown the walls that bar my creativity. More recently, weekly figure drawing workshops have been responsible for my upgrade.

My creative influences range from the world-renowned masters to the incognito revolutionaries of the art game. Leonardo Da Vinci, Alphonse Mucha, George Perez, Jack Kirby, MC Escher, Adam Hughes, as well as other visionaries like The Watchowski Brothers, Guillermo del Toro, and Kevin Smith are among my many influences, but I am mostly influenced by the ever-changing world around me.

As mentioned, I love comics and have been a longtime DC aficionado, but a great amount of Marvel litter my collection as well.

A cold pint of Guinness is usually the perfect end to my day.
